Storage of browser data
When calling up a website, your browser always transmits to a web server data from your retrieving device, such as the IP address to which the website is to be returned, browser type/version and operating system used.
The following data is stored by Epinox.de in secure log files for the purpose of identifying and tracking inadmissible attempts to access and accessing the web site:
- Date and time of access
- full IP address
- currently retrieved web address
- HTTP status code
- Size of the retrieved file (in bytes)
- Browser Version / OS
A comparison with other databases or a transfer to third parties does not take place. The data is stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted.
Forms and web-based services
The website of Epinox.de contains in some places forms and services in which the input of data is possible. The use of these additional options and the associated input of data is only on a voluntary basis. The data will be processed for the purpose stated there and will not be passed on to third parties.
Cookies are files that can be stored by the provider of a website in the directory of the browser program on the user's computer. These files contain text information and can be read by the provider when the page is called again. The provider may use these cookies, for example, to always deliver pages in the language chosen by the user.
Cookies can be provided with an expiry date. For example, cookies that are only used in one session or whose expiration time has expired are automatically deleted when the browser is closed. The storage of cookies can be turned off in the settings of the browser, but the functions controlled by the cookies can then no longer be used. The user can view the cookies stored in the browser and also delete individual ones.
